Verizon Ellipsis 7 is now for sale in carrier’s stores for cheap on contract

Verizon Ellipsis 7Exactly as announced earlier this week, the first Verizon-branded tablet, the Ellipsis 7, is now available for purchase from Verizon online store and select retail locations. If you are interested in the tablet, you will not have to dig deep into your pockets, since it is a pretty affordable offering. The slate costs $149.99. However, Verizon will ask you to sign a two-year contract if you want to buy the Ellipsis 7 for subsidized price. If you are not into long-term agreements, you can grab the tablet outright for $249.99.

Vivo Xplay 3S caught on camera, preparing for launch in December at price $600

Vivo Xplay 3S Live PhotoLast month we brought you news that Chinese manufacturer, Vivo, was working on a phone that would feature a 5.7-inch screen with an insane resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels. With 1080p displays becoming a standard in high-end handsets, it was just a matter of time until some took a step further. Vivo did and the company is preparing for launch of the first smartphone ever with a Quad HD display, also known as 2k. Called Xplay 3S, the phone will go on sale in China in December and will sell for 3,699 yuan, which is about $600.

Microsoft accepts pre-orders on 6-inch Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone 8 phablet

LG Fireweb, the next Firefox Phone brings some improvements over the ZTE Open
