All three devices come in different sizes and with set of handy accessories, so anyone could find something for its daily needs. Each of the devices is now available for purchase directly from AT&T online store priced differently whether you want to buy it on contract or without it. Let’s look at the prices first, shall we?
AT&T Asus PadFone X Tablet-Phone Combo
The Asus PadFone X for AT&T is priced at $199.99 with a new two-year contract or can be yours for $595.92 outright. Samsung tablets are a bit more pricey. The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 goes for $379.99 when you sign a two-year agreement or $479.99 off contract, while the Note Pro 12.2 LTE costs $799.99 on contract or $899.99 outright. The PadFone X, Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE are also available with AT&T Next installment plan for $29.80, $24 and $45 per month, respectively.
The Asus PadFone X appears to be the most intriguing of the trio, as in fact it is a tablet – smartphone combo. The phone features a 5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor. It also offers 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in memory with an option of storage expansion up to 64 GB via microSD slot. Other features include a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 2-megapixel front-facing camera, 4G LTE radio, NFC and a 2,300 mAh battery.
For more fun and richer experience, the phone slips into a tablet dock. The tablet features a 9-inch 1200p display, a 1-megapixel camera and its own 4,990 mAh battery. When combined, the two batteries can reach up to 54 hours of usage time or up to 52 days of standby time. The whole package runs Android 4.4 KitKat.
Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 for AT&T
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is the 4th generation of Samsung’s Tab devices. The tablet, as indicated by the name, sports a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Under the hood, the device has a quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor paired with 1.5 GB of RAM and offers up to 16 GB of internal memory. In addition to microSD slot compatible with up to 64 GB cards, the tablet comes with 50 GB of FREE cloud storage for AT&T Mobile Share.
The Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 is equipped with both rear and front-facing cameras, LTE radio, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi with hotspot capability and has a 6,800 mAh battery which should be good for up to 9 hours of usage time or up to 30 days of standby time. The slate ships with Android 4.4 KitKat on board.
Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE
The Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 LTE is the largest and the most high-end of the team. The tablet boasts a huge 12.2-inch screen with a generous resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels. Ticking inside is a quad-core 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM along with up to 32 GB of built-in storage expandable up to 64 GB.
Included in the package are also: an 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front-facing shooter, a large 9,500 mAh battery capable of delivering up to 9 hours of usage time or up to 30 days of standby time, as well as a full suite of connectivity features, such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi.
