Unless you are a big fan of one of the most popular brands of smartphones, you might want to take a look at Archos’ newly unveiled series, called Titanium. The lineup consists of four devices, each with a different screen size to fit better your personal preferences. The phones are named after the screen size, 40, 45, 50 and 53. All four handsets will be pretty easy on your wallet, priced just at €99.99, €129.99, €149.99 and €159.99 without contract. According to today’s rate of exchange, that would be about $137, $178, $205 and $219, respectively.
Archos Android Dual-SIM Phones – Specs
As for the design, the Archos Titanium 40 and Titanium 50 appear to be slightly more rounded around the edges, while the Titanium 45 and Titanium 53 seem to follow straighter lines.
The phones offer rather lowish resolution displays, that is 800 x 480 pixels, 854 x 480 pixels, 960 x 540 pixels and 854 x 480 pixels in the 4-inch, 4.5-inch, 5-inch and 5.3-inch model, respectively. The battery size is as follows: 1500 mAh, 1680 mAh, 2100 mAh and 2500 mAh.
Other specs are common in all four devices and include dual-core MediaTek 6572 dual-core chipset, 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD slot. The back panel houses a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus, while a 0.3-megapixel webcam resides on the front. All phones in the Titanium lineup have dual-SIM slots that will be compatible with multiple carriers in America, Europe and Asia. The devices run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
