With all the Android rumors raining on us from every corner, Apple has been sitting awfully quiet. Now we are getting two rumors in a row, and we must admit that both are quite interesting, if not unbelievable. The rumors give us two different scenarios for Apple’s phone launches in 2013 and here is what may happen, according to our sources.
First rumor claimed that Apple might release three iPhones this year. One of them would be the 7th-generation version of the phone called the Apple iPhone 5S, which could be followed by a monster of a device with a huge 4.8-inch screen possibly called the Apple iPhone Math. A few months later another iPhone could be launched, this one with a 12 megapixel camera. This is really hard to believe, especially considering how reluctant Apple was to move from 3.5 to 4-inch screens.
Shortly after, another piece of news came up, claiming that the company will launch only two models, with the premiere of the 4.8-incher pushed at least a year. Both iPhones will supposedly offer 4-inch screens with in-cell touch technology and one of them is expected to be the above mentioned Apple iPhone 5S. The other will be a low cost version of the phone, so it is bound to come with some sacrifices, possibly in terms of the materials used, the screen’s resolution, camera quality, processor performance and maybe some more.
Honestly, we have no idea which of the rumors is closer to the truth. Only time will tell.
