Alcatel is clearly working hard this year. We are halfway through 2013 and the company has already announced some 15 devices and based on the latest report there will be more. Alcatel is currently developing two lines of phones, Idol and Scribe, both released under One Touch brand. The Scribe family at the moment consists of four members: the Scribe HD, Scribe HD LTE, Scribe X, and Scribe Easy, but soon there will have a new member – a 6-inch Alcatel One Touch Scribe Pro. We know it thanks to a photo leaked by Eldar Murtazin.
One Touch Scribe Pro 6-inch Phablet
Apparently, the Alcatel One Touch Scribe Pro will be launched later this month wearing an attractive a price tag of $300 off contract. The first country to get the phablet will be Hong Kong. From there, the phone will probably go to other Asian markets, however chances of it ever being available elsewhere are pretty slim. Just like other devices in the Scribe lineup, the One Touch Scribe Pro is designed for note-taking and comes with a stylus similar to the S Pen.
The One Touch Scribe Pro will feature a 6-inch display of unknown resolution and will be powered by a quad-core 1.5 GHz processor. The phone will pack a 13.1-megapixel rear camera and a hefty 3,400 mAh battery. The handset will offer dual-SIM support and wireless connection to TV with Wi-Fi Display. The device will be available with a LED Magic flip cover. There are still many blanks to fill in, but so far the device looks decent, especially for its cheap price.
