About affordable Acer Iconia B1 we wrote back in December and looks like most the rumors and our speculations were true. Today, at the first day of CES, Acer officially announced the Iconia B1-A71, low-end 7-inch Android tablet with an impressive price tag of $150. Weighting 11.3 ounces and 0.44-inch thin, the new addition to Acer devices may not impress you with the other specs but definitely won’t hurt your wallet.
The budget friendly Acer Iconia B1-A71 is equipped with 7-inch WSVGA screen with resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels, is powered by dual-core 1.2GHz MediaTek 8317 processor, 512 MB of RAM, and 2,710 mAh battery. The tablet offers users 8GB of internal memory which can be expanded via microSD card which is good. Other features include 0.3 megapixel front-facing camera, GPS navigation, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 support and 3.5mm headphone jack. The Iconia B1-A71 runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
