Acer unveils the Liquid Z410, a decent entry-level smartphone that won’t break the bank

Liquid Z410 The great countdown to the this year’s CES has just begun and there are more and more mobile manufacturers that can’t wait until the great event to present their new devices. Today, Acer joined the club of impatient phone makers unveiling the Liquid Z410. With the price tag rating at something round $155, this new decent, entry-level, LTE-capable smartphone powered by a 64-bit processor appears to be an affordable offer that won’t break the bank. The device is scheduled to hit the market this February.

Acer Liquid Z410Despite being a budget sector offer the Acer Liquid Z410 provides its future users with quite decent specs and fine body design. Running Android, the smartphone packs a DTS Studio Sound technology, which allegedly provides better quality audio coming from the front speakers and a wider sound-field. Additionally, the mentioned technology also guarantees clearer and sharper sound than ever that should satisfy tastes of all smartphone audiophiles.

Going deeper into to tech parameters, the device houses a rather compact as for current standards 4.5-inch qHD display with 540x960p resolution and a 64-bit MediaTek MT6732 chipset. On the optics side, the Liquid Z410 offers its users a 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing shooter with 80-degree lens. As for the connectivity, the phone will go on sale equipped with 4G LTE support with download speed up to 150Mbit. Other than that, the phone’s battery (so far of unspecified parameters) is said to deliver up to 400 hours on standby mode and 5.5 hours of talk time.

At this point, we don’t know what version of Android exactly the Liquid Z410 will be run on, but proprietary software like the AcerRapid key and Acer QuickTouch won’t be included into the software package. But it’s worth mentioning that the handset’s camera will sport voice control, enabling its users to shoot photos or even to switch between traditional rear camera and front-facing unit selfie mode.

As for pricing and availability details, although the Acer Liquid Z410 is scheduled to debut at the CES 2015 in Las Vegas which is an international trade show, the phone is reported to be an EMEA market offer that will hit the retailers by the end of February.
