The long period of rumors and speculations is finally over and you can get your hands on Motorola’s flagship smartphone for 2013. As most phones of such tier, the 16GB Moto X costs $199.99 with a new two-year contract. If you prefer the handset with month to month service, the price will go up to $579.99.

Moto X is undoubtedly a decent device, however, what makes it stand out from the rest of the smartphones are not specs but the fact that you can customize your phone. This feature is available through Moto Maker system and it allows you to choose from as many as 16 colors and 7 accents, as well as a wallpaper of your choice. Moto Maker is live already so you can play a bit and see how it feel. However, the system does not take orders yet.
The Moto X smartphone sports a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1280 x 720 resolution at 316 ppi. The phone is powered by a dual-core 1.7 GHz X8 Mobile Computing System chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM. Currently, AT&T is selling the 16 GB model, however the 32 GB variant will be available soon for $249.99.
The Moto X is equipped with a 10-megapixel CLEAR PIXEL camera with autofocus, LED flash and 1080p video capture. There is also a 2-megapixel user-facing camera for video chatting. The phone runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Other features include 4G LTE connectivity, Bluetooth 4.0 LE+EDR, Wi-Fi with hotspot capabilities, and a 2,200 mAh battery.
