The all-touch BlackBerry Z10 is now available on almost all major US carriers as well as several regional ones. Undoubted advantage of buying a phone from a carrier is its subsidized price, but there is also one downside. In order to take advantage of the subsidy, you have to sign a costly contract with your service provider for 24 months. If you think that a 2-year pact with a carrier is far too long, you can opt for an unlocked phone without contract, which is compatible with any GSM service provider such as AT&T and T-Mobile in the US. Prices for unlocked Blackberry Z10 start at $579.99 but you can get the handset even cheaper if you decide to purchase pre-owned one.
