ByinSales & Special Offers, Tablets | December 29, 2012

Sprint 4G LTE TabletsIt looks like Sprint is still in holiday spirit as it just announced a new promotion for new customers willing to sign contract for the next two years. The number three carrier in the States is now offering $100 off any 4G LTE tablet with the purchase of any smartphone. The deal includes Apple’s iPad 4 with Retina display with price starting at $529.99, iPad Mini which is selling for $359.99 and up, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 with a $449.99 price tag.

Learn more about the Sprint Sale

iPad Mini, iPad 4 and Samsung Galaxy TabThe smartphones eligible for the promotion are basically all of the handsets currently being sold by Sprint with 2-year contracts, from the Samsung Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S III or LG Optimus G, through a vast selection of mid-range devices to phones available for free. In other words, even when you order a free smartphone, you will be able to take advantage of the $100-off deal. Moreover, Sprint promises that any new subscriber who purchased a smartphone any time since September 14th will also be eligible for the promotion.

While to some people the promotion may seem like an attempt to lure new customers with devices they do not really need, the fact is that chances of finding cheaper iPad Mini, iPad 4 or Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 are pretty slim, since other carriers are selling these tablets starting at $459.99, $629.99 and $549.99 respectively. So if you are one of those folks who like to keep their gadget arsenal fresh and are thinking of getting yourself a new smartphone and tablet, this promotion is definitely worth looking into. Of course, only if you are ready to be Sprint’s customer for 24 months and purchase a data plan for the table, which by the way are budget-friendly starting at as less as $10 a month.

The deal will run through January 10th 2013, meaning you have less than two weeks to make up your mind. Anyone interested?
