Remember the Sony Xperia SP we mentioned a while back? It is already available for purchase in the UK. Currently the phone is offered by T-Mobile, Orange and EE. T-Mobile customers can buy the handset for £249.99 outright, which is about $387. If you go for Orange or EE, you will get the Sony Xperia SP for free as long as you choose a qualifying plan and sign a two-year contract. Both T-Mobile and EE promise to ship the device within 30 days. However, it appears that at the moment the handset is out of stock at Orange.

O2 and Three are also expected to carry the Sony Xperia SP any time soon. If either of them is your carrier of choice, you will have to wait for the device a tad longer, as it is still listed as “coming soon”. It is also worth mentioning that only the EE version will support 4G LTE connectivity. If you opt for unlocked model, it will be available on Amazon starting May 6.
The Sony Xperia SP combines the best features of both Xperia S and Xperia P in aluminum unibody. The handset sports a 4.6-inch 720p display and is powered by a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor. The phone is equipped with an 8-megapixel camera with Exmor RS sensor, as well as a VGA front-facing unit. The device offers 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable up to 32 GB. Other features include handwriting recognition, xLoud Experience, PlayStation certification, NFC, stereo Bluetooth, GPS navigation and more.
