Solavei prepaid service began selling nano SIM cards for Apple iPhone 5

ByinAnnouncements | March 10, 2013

Solavei Unlimited PlanThere are not too many carriers to choose from if you want to use an unlocked Apple iPhone 5. Just a few days ago the short list included only three service providers: AT&T, T-Mobile and Straight Talk. Now you can add one more operator to the band. Solavei officially announced availability of nano SIM cards compatible with the iPhone 5. The SIM cards cost $9 and do not require cutting down like a regular SIM card. Apart from the iPhone 5, customers can choose from such popular phones as the Samsung Galaxy S III or Google’s Nexus 4, as well as other Android-powered devices.

Solavei Trios that make mobile service free.

iPhone 5 SmartphoneSolavei is a relatively young mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) that runs on the T-Mobile network. Since it was established in September 2012, the operator has been steadily gaining loyal customers and has become one of the fastest growing mobile service companies. Solavei offers one plan for all members – for $49 per month you get unlimited talk, text and data.

What is different about this operator is its approach to marketing. In order to maximize savings, Solavei renounced costly marketing technique such as TV commercial and billboards and instead relies on its customers to advertise its service. What is even more interesting, customers are paid for it. The system is not very complicated. For every three new members (called a “Trio”) they recruit, Solavei customers earn $20 per month which they can use to offset their monthly bill. Three Trios generate more money than the monthly plan cost, virtually making their mobile service free.
