Remember when we told you that Huawei is working on an incredibly thin smartphone? The device, codenamed P6-U06, will be just 0.24 inches (6.18 mm) thick – a result than no other manufacturer was able to achieve to date. The handset is believed to belong to the Huawei P series that the company has been talking about for almost a year now. It appears that the phone has just leaked again. Or at least we think that this is the upcoming Huawei offering.
Huawei P6-U06, more leaks and rumors…
Folks at NoWhereElse got hold of a few photos of an actual device resembling the unit we saw in renders, the most noticeable difference being color. The images do not allow even a glimpse at the back of the phone, and since there is no logo on the front panel, we cannot tell with 100% certainty that it was made by Huawei. However, there is some evidence that seems to confirm that indeed we are looking at the P6-U06, for example the fact that the device appears to be very slim. Also, the design with a metal band around the perimeter fits perfectly with the latest trend used by Huawei.
The P6-U06 is rumored to feature a 4.7-inch 720p display, 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, and 2 GB of RAM. In addition to an 8-megapixel camera on the back, the handset is believed to sport an impressive 5-megpixel front-facing shooter. The phone will also come with two slots for SIM cards which is congruent with the P6-U06 being destined for Chinese market.
