It looks like that Amazon Wireless is on a roll this holiday season. This giant online retailer again lowered price for another one of the hottest smartphones available on market. Yesterday, we brought you news that Amazon slashed the price for HTC Droid DNA by $50, selling it for only $149. If you head on over to Amazon this morning, you will find the Samsung Galaxy Note II for Verizon dropped to $199 which is $100 comparing to Verizon’s online store.
Deal on Galaxy Note II for Verizon
The Verizon’s version of the Galaxy Note II is currently selling for $299 at carrier’s store. Therefore, if you want to save a hundred bucks and buy the most popular phablet this year, the Amazon Wireless is the place to head over. Just for $199.99 you can get Marble White and Titanium Gray version of the device. Of course, signing up a new long-term contract is required.
Unfortunately, the deal is exclusive for new customers. Existing Verizon subscribers, however, can save $20 on the offer, since the device is priced for $279 for those who is willing to upgrade. It is still a better deal than at Verizon store, considering lower price, free shipping and in most cases tax free.
Finally, there is a catch worth mentioning, the Amazon Wireless listing notes the Galaxy Note II for Verizon as being backordered. According to the details, the handset will be shipped in 1 to 2 weeks. And sure, waiting a week or two is probably not ideal, however when it means saving $100, we guess more than a few will be willing to wait. According to our calculations if you purchase the phone today, it should arrive before Christmas, December 24th.
