Learn more about Samsung Array for Sprint

Samsung Array for Sprint | Cheap PhonesThe Samsung Array for Sprint was designed to serve mainly as a messaging device and for that reason it was equipped with two keypads. The front one is your standard keypad with 12 keys. There is also a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard with 4 rows of keys featuring predictive text entry to make messaging quick and easy. Threaded text messaging will allow you to see the full conversation for each contact in a chat-like interface.

The Array sports a nice 2.4-inch QVGA LCD screen with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution, a QSC6155 Qualcomm processor clocked at 480 MHz and 128 MB of RAM. The internal memory of 256 MB with only 40 MB of download capacity may leave you wishing for something more, but with the option to expand the memory via microSD card up to 32 GB there is very little chance you would run out of space for your music, videos, apps or games.

The Samsung Array runs proprietary operating system with simple and intuitive Samsung user interface. It has access to Sprint’s 3G network so you can surf the web and download games, ringers and more at a decent speed. It provides access to Sprint Mobile Email personal email account and Sprint Family Locator, which uses GPS technology to locate a child’s phone and display its location on an interactive map. The phone has also parental controls, which will allow you to restrict incoming / outgoing direct dial calls and limit access to data services.

The Array is equipped with a 2 megapixel main camera, which gives some room for your creative thinking with shooting options like shot modes, continuous, panorama, night, mosaic, and video recording. Built-in Picture Messaging app will let you share your photos with your friends and family in an instant and as quickly update your social websites.

Other features of the Samsung Array include: music player with support for AAC, AAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, eAAC+, MIDI, MP3, QCP, WAV – PCM, and WMA files, Bluetooth supporting the following profiles: A2DP, AVRCP, FTP, GOEP, HFP 1.5, HSP, OPP, PBAP, SBC, SDAP, and SPP, calculator, calendar, task list, HTML browser, WAP browser, Java, voice recognition, voicemail and voice memo, 3.5 mm stereo headset jack, and 1000 mAh battery offering up to 4 hour talk time and up to 10 days standby time.

The Samsung Array for Sprint is definitely no advanced smartphone but it has what it takes to serve its purpose. Are you interested?
