Motorola’a Droid RAZR M is just three months old and rumors about its alleged successor are already spilling like crazy. An anonymous tipster posted the whole specs sheet for the device, which will supposedly be called Droid RAZR M HD. This is something new and different from the usual “one piece of information at a time” style, so do not get too excited as you read.
The next generation RAZR M might feature a 4.5-inch touch screen with a 720 x 1280 pixel resolution working out to pixel density of 326 ppi. That would not be too much of improvement, since the original RAZR M is a 4.3-incher. According to the rumors, the processor will remain unchanged, so be prepared to see the old dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus MSM8960 with Adreno 225 for graphics. Other features seemingly include 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of built-in storage, Android 4.1 upgradeable to Android and 3300 mAh battery.
The 3300 mAh of power would be awesome, but being realistic it sounds a bit far-fetched. Anyway, if the battery capacity turns out to be true, it would mean 21.25 hours of talk time and 15.65 days of standby time.
Keep in mind that these are just rumors, and with the Droid RAZR M released just three months ago we would have to wait for a HD model (if it really is being prepared) at least until summer.
