LG Optimus Regard 4G LTE Cricket this week has added new Android smartphone to its lineup devices – the LG Optimus Regard, which is another version of the LG Motion 4G sold on Metro PCS network. The device sports 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen, dual-core 1.2GHz  processor and 1GB RAM, 4G LTE connectivity,  5 megapixel rear camera plus front-facing shooter, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. The Optimus Regard is Cricket’s first LTE device and it is available online and in local stores for $249.99 without contract.

LG Optimus Regard 4G LTE for Cricket The LG Optimus Regard features a not too big 3.5-inch HVGA display with a 480 x 320 pixel resolution, covered with Corning Gorilla Glass for extra protection against scrapes and scratches. For hardware, the phone has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor and 1GB RAM. The handset offers 8 GB of built-in memory and has a microSD slot compatible with up to 32 GB memory cards for storage expansion.

The Regard is equipped with a 5 megapixel rear camera / camcorder with LED flash, zoom, 1080p video capture, Time Catch Shot, which takes pictures before pressing shutter button, and Cheese Shutter, which will react and snap a photo when you say “cheese”. On the front there is a VGA camera for self-portraits and video chatting with your friends and family.

The device runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, which is not the latest one, but still you will be able to enjoy this unique Android experience.

The LG Optimus Regard is Cricket’s first 4G LTE smartphone, so now you will be able to take advantage of incredible speeds while surfing the web or downloading content. The phone also packs Wi-Fi and stereo Bluetooth for wireless connection with other devices, such as car kits, headsets, phones, laptops, PCs or tablets.

The handset supports Cricket Services, such as Cricket Tethering, Cricket Mobile Web, MyAccount, Cricket 411, MyBackup and Cricket Storefront and comes pre-loaded with demo games and QuickMemo, which allows you to write or doodle directly on the screen, take screenshot and create a personalized memo.

The phone boasts quite strong 1700 mAh battery, which according to the manufacturer will allows you for up to 5.4 hours talk time and up to 290 hours standby time, but of course, the average usage time will depend on how you use the device.

Other features of the LG Optimus Regard include: music player compatible with AAC, AAC+, WMA, MP3 and WAV file formats, 3.5 mm headset jack, microUSB data port, dual language support (English and Spanish) and standard tools like alarm, calendar and calculator.
