Do you remember the budget-friendly entry-level Huawei Prism released last year on T-Mobile network? The carrier is still offering the handset for free on contract, but if you would like something a little better spec’ed at budget friendly price, its sequel is on the way. The Huawei Prism II will land on T-Mobile some time in the near future and let’s hope it will be as affordable as the first generation of the model.
Huawei Prism II to offer Android Jelly Bean
Just like its predecessor, the new Huawei Prism II will not offer any mind-blowing specs, but should easily cover all the basic needs of less demanding users who just begin their adventure with smartphones. It would also be a good choice for your young one. The phone will be slightly more powerful, featuring a 1 GHz processor as opposed to a 600 MHz unit in the Prism. Also the operating system was bumped from Gingerbread to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which is a big plus. The rest of the specs remain a mystery so far.
Courtesy of @evleaks, we know how the Prism II will look like, and what we are seeing is not too bad. Judging from the image, the handset will probably come with 3.5-inch HVGA 480 x 320 and we can also see a camera on the back but none on the front. There is little possibility of 4G LTE support, but HD voice during calls certainly makes sense.
