Having announced quite a few new smartphones over the past month, Huawei is working on more devices to launch in the near future. Wanna take a look at the company’s two soon-to-be-released handsets, the Ascend G710 and the Ascend Plus? Courtesy of @evleaks, here you have the photos of both phones, the high-end Ascend G710 and the entry-level Ascend Plus.
Huawei Ascend G710 vs. Ascend Plus
The Huawei Ascend Plus will land on TracFone, and possibly its Straight Talk and/or Net10 prepaid network. The handset will feature a 4-inch touch screen with a 480 x 800 resolution and will be driven by a 1 GHz single-core processor. The phone will also offer a 5 megapixel rear camera and 4 GB of internal memory with microSD card slot for storage expansion. The Ascend Plus will run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Judging from the specs it is obvious that the handset will be aimed at first-time smartphone users.
The Huawei Ascend G710 will rock a 5-inch touch screen with 720p resolution and powering the phone will be a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, possibly home-grown Hi-Silicon K3V2 that can be found in most Huawei’s handsets today. The phone will support both CDMA and GSM networks, which leads us to suspect that the G710 will be headed to China, since this type of handsets is quite popular on that market.
Other than that there are no details to comment on, but hopefully soon we will get more information. And when we do, we will let you know.
