If you are an HTC fan impatiently waiting for the new company flagship smartphone, here is a fresh batch of news for you about the phone code-named M7. To begin with, we may see the device sooner than we expected. Previous rumors suggested that the HTC M7 would be unveiled at Mobile Word Congress in February, but according to XDA member Football, the handset may be officially presented next week at Consumer Electronics Show. Since this particular member has been correct about unveiling HTC-related information in the past, such as Droid DNA and HTC One X+, the probability of the M7 being announced at CES is pretty high.
The HTC M7 allegedly will be the successor to the HTC One X and One X+, but unlike these devices, it could have screen buttons instead of hardware touch buttons, which would imply that this time HTC is heading in a different direction than with its past devices.
Other than that, the HTC M7 will be a powerful handset packing the highest-end of specs. The smartphone will feature a 4.7-inch full HD 1920 x 1080-pixel display, and will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz. It will also offer a 13 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, LTE and HSPA+ connectivity, Beats Audio, and a 2,300 mAh battery.
