Cricket to offer Samsung Galaxy S4, Admire 2 and Galaxy Discover

CricketAfter the latest announcement, Cricket’s chances to score new customers this summer have gone up a few notches. What exactly did the carrier say? That it will start offering the Samsung Galaxy S4 on June 4. As you may expect, Samsung’s latest flagship phone is not the cheapest one and will cost $599 upfront. There is also another option. You can grab the phone for $54.99 down and pay off the remaining value with monthly installments. Obviously, you will have to pick one of Cricket’s service plans, which start at $45 per month.

New Cricket Phones coming this summer

Galaxy S4 coming to CricketThe version offered by Cricket will be equally awesome as the ones found on any other carrier. In other words, you will be getting a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display, powerful processor, 2 GB of RAM and a 13-megapixel rear camera. The Galaxy S4 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean a new TouchWiz UI. New smart features include Smart Stay, Smart Scroll and more. In addition, the phone will come with Cricket’s Muve Music service which allows you unlimited access to downloadable songs and ringtones. Naturally, the Handset will run on Cricket’s LTE network.

This summer Cricket will start carrying two more Samsung smartphones, the Admire 2 and the Galaxy Discover. The Samsung Admire 2 is a mid-range phone running Android 4.1 with TouchWiz UI on top. The device features a 4-inch display, 5-megapixel camera, memory card slot and 4G LTE support. The Samsung Galaxy Discover is a more humble offering. It comes with a 3.5-inch display, 3-megapixel camera, memory card slot, and stock Android 4.0 interface.
