BLU Products has unveiled a new series of Android-powered smartphones: the Life One, Life View, and Life Play. The phones will be available without contract from third-party online retailers, such as Amazon, in late April and will sell for $229 for the Play model, and $299 for both the One and View. The new BLU Life series will come in different display sizes so for sure you will find the one that fits your needs best.
BLU Life One vs. Life View vs. Life Play
The smallest of the series, BLU Life Play features a 4.7-inch HD IPS display with One-Glass-Solution technology, 4 GB internal storage, 8 megapixel main camera with LED flash, 2 megapixel front-facing camera and a 1,800 mAh battery. The BLU Life One boasts a 5-inch HD IPS display with Gorilla Glass 2, 13 megapixel rear camera, 5 megapixel shooter on the front and a 2,000 mAh battery. The BLU Life View is the biggest of the bunch and comes with a 5.7-inch HD IPS display also with Gorilla Glass 2 for screen protection, 2,600 mAh battery, 12 megapixel camera on the back and, just like the One, 5 megapixel front camera and 16 GB of onboard storage.
The rest of the specs are identical for all models. The handsets are powered by MediaTek’s quad-core 1.2 GHz MT6589 processor with a power-efficient ARM Cortex-A7 subsystem and PowerVR Series5XT GPU providing support for graphics. The phones also offer 1 GB of RAM, microSD card slot for storage expansion and dual SIM support, and run Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
