AT&T has a long-lasting relationship with BlackBerry. It was the first carrier in the US to offer BlackBerry smartphones and services. It is also worth mentioning that the first device running new BB10 OS, the BlackBerry Z10, had its debut on AT&T network. Starting today, AT&T customers can pre-order the second of the BB10 devices – the BlackBerry Q10. The phone costs $199.99 with a new 2-year service agreement and is expected to start shipping on June 18th.
BlackBerry Q10 for AT&T – Overview
The BlackBerry Q10 combines touch screen functionality with a physical keyboard that BlackBerry fans have come to know and love. New BB10 platform allows for predictive text entry, multiple language support, and keyboard shortcuts for faster navigation. BB10 also brings BlackBerry Hub which lets you manage all your messages from any app with just one swipe of a finger. Other innovative features include BBM Video with Screen Share, BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Balance, BlackBerry Remember, and more.
The Q10 sports a 3.1-inch S-AMOLED display with 720 x 720 resolution at 330 ppi, an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 1080p video capture, as well as a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The BlackBerry Q10 houses a dual-core 1.5 GHz Qualcomm MSM8960 processor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory expandable via microSD slot up to 32 GB. The handset is equipped with LTE radio, HSPA+ with enhanced backhaul, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity. Power is delivered by a removable 2,100 mAh battery good for up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 15 days of standby time.
