If the latest rumors are to believed, there may be three new Samsung smartphones coming to AT&T in the not so distant future. In addition to the Galaxy S4 Active, AT&T customers may also expect the Galaxy S4 Mini and the Galaxy Mega 6.3 to land in the carrier’s store soon. It is a lot of Samsung devices at once, but actually it is not surprising at all. Both, AT&T and Samsung, have been known to cooperate closely in the past.
New Samsung Galaxy smartphones for AT&T
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active (the model number SGH-i537) is a rugged cousin of the Galaxy S4. The phone features a waterproof case and a 5-inch Full HD display. The handset is rumored to be powered by a quad-core 1.9GHz Snapdragon 600 processor, and pack a 2,600 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy S4 Active runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED display at 256 ppi, and houses a dual-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8930 chip with Adreno 305 for graphics. The phone offers 1.5 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory expandable up to 64 GB. The device has an 8-megapixel camera on the back and a 1.9-megapixel secondary camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 is one of the largest handset to ever see the light of day. It boasts a 6.3-inch 720 x 1280 display and is driven by a dual-core 1.7 GHz processor. The phone ships with 1.5 GB of RAM, and 8 GB of expandable storage. The Mega 6.3 is equipped with two cameras: 8-megapixel main shooter and 1.9-megapixel user-facing sensor. The phone has a hefty 3200 mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
